This entry in the 2009 48HOURS film-making competition, Otåck otåck otåck fall, mimicked the conventions of Scandinavian avant-garde film, and won the Wellington regional section. The moment each competition starts all entrants are given specified elements to include in their film, including a prop, a line of dialogue and a character. They then have exactly 48 hours to deliver a finished production. Hundreds of teams, including both novices and top professionals, compete each year for regional and ultimately national prizes.
