Actor Lucy Lawless's Broadway debut came when she appeared in the musical Greasein 1997, as the bad-girl character Betty Rizzo. She had previously played the title role in the television series Xena: warrior princess. In this clip from a 1997 TV programme, Lawless talks about her earliest experiences of acting, as a schoolgirl in Mt Albert, Auckland.
