Louisa Hill on Bates Antonello competes in the Grand Prix Freestyle Dressage at the 2011 Horse of the Year show, where she won the event with a score of 68.61%. In 2012 the pair competed at the London Olympics, their second Olympic appearance. Dressage requires the horse and rider to perform a series of movements designed to show the horse's paces and training. In freestyle dressage, the rider can choose which movements to perform and in which order, although certain movements must be included. Freestyle dressage to music (also known as Kur) introduces another element of complexity, as the horse's movements have to coordinate with the tempo of the music.
