In this 1991 television interview a New Zealand Vietnam veteran describes his first reactions to the defoliant Agent Orange. The soldiers initially had no idea that the chemical presented any danger. In later years veterans and their children developed health problems, which they claimed were the result of exposure to the defoliant. In 2006 the government acknowledged that the toxins in Agent Orange could be responsible for some of these health conditions.
