The 1950 National Film Unit newsreel K-force shows an early contingent of Kayforce carrying out artillery training at Waiōuru. Kayforce was the New Zealand army contribution to Korea. This battery is training on 25-pounder guns, standard weapons of the New Zealand artillery during the Second World War.
