Roger Douglas

Watch Minister of Finance Roger Douglas give a post-Budget interview in 1984. Douglas was probably the most famous economic practitioner in New Zealand in the 1980s. His use of new-right economic theory was branded ‘Rogernomics’ by the press, but like most economic theory in New Zealand it was largely imported from overseas.
