Reporting a railway accident

A news report gives details of a 2007 fatal level-crossing accident at Ōhingaiti, Rangitīkei. The reason for the crash was initially unclear, as the warning bells and lights were working. Later it was suggested that the driver was temporarily blinded by the sun and drove on in confusion.
