Kōrero: Veterinary services

A rural vet at work

In this extract from a 2003 Country calendar programme, rural vet Paul Hughes examines an X-ray of a huntaway dog with hip dysplasia, and explains to owner Ricky Alabaster why it is not desirable to use the animal for breeding. Hughes runs his own veterinary practice at Taihape, in the central North Island.
