Filming Country GP

The 1980s television drama series Country GP, set in rural 1940s New Zealand, played on viewers’ nostalgia for both country life and ‘the good old days’. Here the crew and cast film an episode at Whitemans Valley, north of Wellington, where the programme’s fictional village of Mason’s Valley was built.
