Canoeing the Huka Falls

The sight of the Waikato River cascading over the Huka Falls attracts thousands to the lookout near Taupō. But as this video clip shows, some people come for a different kind of experience. Watch canoeists drop into the swirling foam at the base of the falls, for a terrifying and highly dangerous adrenalin buzz.
