    The Human Rights Commission provides information on children’s rights under a UN covenant, and in New Zealand law.

    The Children’s Commissioner provides advocacy services for children and young people and ensures their rights are upheld.

  • Oranga Tamariki – Ministry for Children

    The ministry with responsibility for children who are at significant risk of harm and youths who have offended or are likely to do so.

  • VOYCE – Whakarongo Mai

    A non-governmental organisation that provides an independent voice for children and young people about the care system in New Zealand.

    The Youth Court website provides information for young people who have to attend court and their families.
