Nick Tansley, one of 91ZM's 'The Morning Crew' along with Grant Kereama and Pauline Gillespie, is shown interviewing 'belly flop king' Murray Todd, on 3 November 1999. In the 1990s, following deregulation, large numbers of new commercial radio stations appeared. Many placed a strong emphasis on their local communities, as seen with 91ZM's 'Belly Flops and Bombs Competition' in Upper Hutt. Murray Todd, who was the winner, donated his prize money to Totara Park School. The sound file comprises two excerpts from their shows, featuring humorous singing and Nick Tansley attempting to interview a hen in a chicken coop.
