Fantail

Native fantails and silvereyes are quite common in urban gardens, in orchards and in farmland, as they tend to frequent the open-bush edge. They are probably less vulnerable to predators than many other native species, as they both arrived in New Zealand fairly recently – unassisted, from Australia.
