Brief togs

Peter Jamieson emerges from the sea at Oriental Bay in Wellington Harbour after a mid-winter swim in a water temperature of 9° C. He is wearing the brief togs that were the male fashion of the 1970s. The race to the Oriental Bay fountain was to win tickets to a rugby test.
