Flooding in Kilbirnie, Wellington

Flash floods can occur almost anywhere, and when they hit in the city, the drainage system has difficulty in coping. This boat happened to be in the front yard of a house in the Wellington suburb of Kilbirnie in November 1994. It might have proved more useful than the car.
