These Campbell albatross chicks and adults on nests are using every square metre of space on a cliff ledge. Most albatross species breed in high-density colonies. Once the chicks fledge, they fly north past New Zealand to the sub-tropical Pacific, and they later move round to the western Tasman Sea, where most of the adults spend the winter.
