Congolese musician Sam Manzanza

Sam Manzanza (shown here in Wellington, 2003) has been in New Zealand longer than most African immigrants. He arrived in the 1980s after marrying a Dunedin woman, and has since been a driving force in promoting African music – especially drumming.
