A sculpture placed in Wellington’s Midland Park in 1996 is the work of Colombian artist Silvia Salgado. She came to New Zealand in 1992 to lecture in design at Wellington Polytechnic. Her sculpture, ‘Ngā kōrerorero’ (the ongoing dialogue) represents communication and relationships among friends and families.
