From Italy via Australia

In the 30 years after the Second World War Australia admitted a much greater variety of immigrants than New Zealand. Some of these ‘new Australians’ moved on to New Zealand. Italian-born Federico Gianone met and married a New Zealander, Meegan, in Australia. They then moved to Dunedin and opened an Italian restaurant, where they are shown with their sons Rion and Zane.
