John Henry Rushworth Jellicoe (left) had a close association with New Zealand, first as an imperial advisor on naval policy in 1919, then as governor general from 1920 to 1924, and finally as a New Zealand delegate to the Geneva Naval Conference in 1927. He is seen here with politician Joseph Gordon Coates (right).
