McKenna’s House of Antiques

A two-storey brick building with Victorian architectural features, labelled McKenna’s House of Antiques, alongside a small, semi-derelict shop selling cigarettes.

Many of Les Cleveland’s photographs of the 1950s and 1960s, such as this 1959 image of the corner of Molesworth Street and Lambton Quay in Wellington, capture the fading remnants of Victorian architecture in New Zealand cities and towns.
