Paul Holmes abruptly left Television New Zealand in late 2004 to start a new current affairs show on Prime Television, a new channel looking to expand its audience by recruiting a major star. He’s pictured here in the station’s Albany studio in 2005. The show, which began broadcasting in February 2005, lasted only six months, and Holmes returned to Television New Zealand in 2007.
