Athfield House and Office

Ian Athfield’s house and office, probably his most important building, evolved from a two-storey home into a sprawling multi-level complex which attracted both praise from observers and criticism from the Wellington City Council. Its distinctive look-out tower, built in 1971, made it a landmark of the Wellington skyline.
