Davina Smith (later Whitehouse) played the role of a comic maid in many British ‘quota quickie’ movies in the 1930s. Here she appears (right) in Are you a Mason? (1934), alongside stars Sonnie Hale and Gwyneth Lloyd, under the stage name Davina Craig.
