Diners enjoy authentic Malaysian cuisine at Little Penang restaurant in Wellington in 2013. The capital has a number of Malaysian restaurants but Little Penang is specially known for its Penang-style street food using traditional ingredients. It is particularly popular with homesick Malaysians: one Malaysian customer, married to a Kiwi, began weeping halfway through her birthday meal and explained, ‘This is the food my grandmother used to make!’
