Pius Ersando (left) and Jerald Pumaris take part in a game of basketball, one of the events at a Filipino Games Sports Fest and Family Fun Day at Rotorua in June 2015. As well as basketball, traditional games such as luksong lubid, luksong tinik, patintero, tumbang preso and palosebo were played. The event, which was attended by more than 200 people, was combined with celebrations for Philippine Independence Day, and was hosted by community group Palarong Pinoy sa Rotorua. It has been held annually since 2013.
