Roger Ingram Dansey

A popular officer in the Native Contingent during the First World War, Roger Dansey led by example. He was photographed in 1915 at Malta, digging a trench with comrades. Dansey is in front, with Peter Buck behind him and Captain Hiroti and Lieutenant Tikao on the right.
