The Crusaders play the Brumbies in a Super 15 game on 3 May 2014 at AMI Stadium in Christchurch. The Crusaders’ previous home ground, Jade Stadium (formerly Lancaster Park), was severely damaged in the February 2011 earthquake and had to be abandoned. For one season the Crusaders had no home ground in Christchurch. The next year the old rugby league ground known as Addington showgrounds was taken over, a new grandstand was built and the ground reopened as AMI Stadium with seating for 18,000 people. Rugby league also continued to use the ground.
