A researcher for the Joint Centre for Disaster Research delivers questionnaires on emergency preparedness to randomly selected Wellington households. The centre is a collaboration between GNS Science and Massey University, based at the School of Psychology on Massey's Wellington campus. Disaster research combines a range of social sciences to study community reactions to disasters and to help prepare for future crises.
