The Troubles, 2012

Wellington jazz band The Troubles was formed by Scottish-born drummer John Rae. As composer-in-residence at the New Zealand School of Music in 2010, he put together the group one by one over a series of live shows. This photo shows them playing at Wellington café Meow in 2010. From left are Alexis French, Jake Baxendale, Dan Yeabsley, Tristan Carter, John Rae, Hannah Fraser, Patrick Bleakley, Andrew Filmer and Charley Davenport.
