Internationally known singer Mavis Rivers is seen recording with the Crombie Murdoch Trio at the NZBC's Auckland studios in about 1963. Murdoch, on piano, is accompanied by Don Branch on drums and Lester Still on bass. Both Rivers and Murdoch performed at New Zealand's first jazz festival, held in Auckland on 7 August 1950.

Hi - yes your correspondent is correct - it's Lester Still on bass, not Bob Ewing.

That doesn't look like Bob Ewing playing the bass it looks like Les Still.
