Dominion Post photographer Kent Blechynden won the award for best news picture in the 2013 Canon Media Awards with this shot. It shows angry protesters at the Occupy Wellington site in Civic Square on 13 January 2012, confronting a member of the group evicting them on instructions from the Wellington City Council.
