Kōrero: Composers

Samuel Holloway

Samuel Holloway

Samuel Holloway writes music for traditional orchestral acoustic instruments, but sometimes uses them in unusual ways, for example requiring a musician to play a guitar with a bow. As well as composing he teaches part time at Unitech in Auckland and is musical director for the contemporary music group 175 East. He was Mozart Fellow at the University of Otago in 2013.
