Smooth Inc street art, 1980s

Smooth Inc street art, 1980s

Smooth Inc was an Auckland street-art crew of the 1980s. Inspired by hip hop graffiti coming out of New York, members treated buildings, walls and railway corridors like urban canvases, spraying pieces (large murals) on any blank space at hand. This piece on an Auckland construction site wall was created by Smooth Inc in the mid-1980s.
