The Waitaki District Schools' Pipe Band takes part in the Grand Street Parade of the Ōamaru Victorian Heritage Celebrations in November 2009. Pipe bands have become a standard feature of public events in New Zealand, including street parades, A & P (agricultural and pastoral) shows and Anzac Day ceremonies.
