Lyne Pringle, 2011

Community and mixed-ability dance (involving disabled and able-bodied performers) developed in New Zealand in the 1990s. The University of Otago's Caroline Plummer Fellowship in Community Dance was set up in 2003. Lyne Pringle, the 2011 fellow, based herself first in a Dunedin primary school. Pringle worked on two performances, one involving the 145 students and their teachers, and the other with a smaller group of 15 students.
