Wellington earthquake damage

The magnitude 6.5 earthquake that occurred in Cook Strait on 21 July 2013 caused considerable damage to the container wharf at Wellington's CentrePort. Some glass also fell onto the road from a few downtown buildings and the historic Old Public Trust Building was deemed unsafe for occupation.
