Interior of St Paul's Church (2 o 3)

Interior of St Paul's Church

This rare image of the interior of Auckland's St Paul's Church in the 1860s highlights its elaborate wooden ceiling. The pews include small metal plates, probably nameplates for the seating of parishioners. The altar in the apse is obscured by light but the pulpit is visible to the right of the image. The church also appears to have a gallery on the upper left side.
