Most government departments have their own libraries for staff use. This is the library at Manatū Taonga, the Ministry for Culture and Heritage (MCH). Te Ara resources researcher Marguerite Hill holds one of the library's many printed books. The MCH library collection is particularly strong in New Zealand social, political, race-relations and military history, as well as the arts, reflecting the core work of the ministry.
