In 2008 British TV fashion hosts Trinny Woodall (left) and Susannah Constantine visited New Zealand to promote their views on dressing to enhance the figure. Here, Mandy Robinson of Cambridge is advised on how to dress to disguise 'figure faults' in an event at Glenfield Shopping Mall on Auckland's North Shore. Trinny and Susannah rejected the idea of women trying to change their body shape by dieting or exercise, but did reintroduce the concept of foundation garments – their specially designed 'magic knickers' promised to control excess flesh on the waist, thighs and bottom.
