Danny McBride, adaptive rower

Danny McBride is shown competing in the adaptive single sculls for rowers with disabilities at the 2010 world rowing championships, held at Lake Karāpiro. McBride finished third. Adaptive rowers race over 1,000 metres (half the distance of other rowers) and are usually assisted by a back brace, visible on McBride's boat.
