Kōrero: Dancing

A celebration of Indian Independence Day in 2005 brought these five young Aucklanders into the spotlight. India has a particularly rich dance tradition, which includes several forms of classical dance as well as folk forms. The variation in the stance of the youngsters shown here suggests that public performance was not something they did regularly.
