Henry van Asch and A. J. Hackett are at the end of their 2008 bungy jump celebrating the 20th anniversary of bungy jumping off the Kawarau Bridge, Queenstown. After the jump the two said they expected to be around for the 40th anniversary, although they joked they'd be jumping with their zimmer frames. Hackett recalled that New Zealand tourism was a bit flat when they began, and their bungy business helped put New Zealand on the map: 'We put the gas into adventure tourism.' Since then 350,000 people have jumped from the bridge, with some of the profits going towards restoring the bridge.
