For teenagers in the 2000s the end of the school day often signalled the beginning of a sociable afternoon break. These three 14-year-olds in Queenstown – (from left) Ryan Heald, Krista Officer and Brittany Campbell –  are spending the time talking and laughing together before going home for dinner.
