Getting ready for school (1 o 4)

Getting ready for school

Life for primary-school age children Kristie and Scott and their mother Karen was a routine of meals, school, paid work, sport and bedtime. This photo is one of a series taken in 1989. The children’s day begins with breakfast and getting ready for school. Karen, a hairdresser, arranges Kristie’s hair, while Scott does his own. Kristie’s friend Nichole watches.
