2002 World Championships

Tall Blacks captain Pero Cameron swerves around a German player during the bronze-medal playoff at the 2002 Basketball World Championships in Indianapolis. New Zealand lost the game 94–117, ending up in fourth place, its best ever performance at a world championship. Cameron was named in the all-tournament team as one of the five best players at the championships.
