Victory over Canada

During the 1990s increased competition and stronger coaching led to an improvement in the international performance of the national men's and women's teams – the Tall Blacks and Tall Ferns. In 1998 the Tall Blacks beat Canada 85–79, a victory that confirmed New Zealand as a international force in the game. Here Tall Blacks player Sean Marks dodges a Canadian player.
