Buying Kronic

Kronic, a synthetic cannabis, was available in New Zealand until August 2011, although it was recommended only for those aged 18 or above. Fifteen-year-old Jazz Kerdar, shown here, had just purchased the product as part of a newspaper investigation, showing that the age recommendation was often ignored. In August 2011 the government decided to ban the drug.
