Bob Charles, 1963 British Open

Bob Charles, 1963 British Open

All eyes are on the flight of his ball as Bob Charles, one of the finest left-handers in the history of golf, dispatches his drive during the 1963 British Open at Royal Lytham and St Annes. Charles's win at this tournament marked his emergence to world prominence. Until 2003 he remained the only left-hander to win one of the four major international tournaments.
