Lois Muir is pictured with Governor-General Sir Anand Satyanand in 2010. In 2004 she was made a Dame Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit for her services to netball as a player in the 1960s, a coach in the 1970s and 1980s, and an administrator thereafter.
